On July 14, 2002, I completed the Avon 3-Day, 60-Mile Walk from Santa Clara to San Francisco, with my mother, Georgina, and cousin, Ashleigh. The annual walk raises money for early detection and treatment for those who can’t afford it, and hopefully one day a cure for Breast Cancer.

This disease kills 40,000 women in the US each year. With the support from our donors, together we raised over $7,000 for this very worthy cause, and met some wonderful and inspiring people along the way. The combined efforts of all the walkers helped this year’s event raise a grand total of $7 million net (after costs).
